Changing the Default Year

Change from the Default Year of 2225

Does anyone know how to change the Default year of 2225? I was told that it was in the English folder in a string (STR) file but I could not find it. Any Help would be appreciated!

I don't believe that can actually be changed (at least, I've never seen where it can).

Thanks Kryo for the try, but I am sure that there is a way since it progresses a week for every turn you play and after 52 turns it progress to the next year. Any Programmer that could help, would be nice.

Another thought, could the DXPACK hold the Default Year?

Confirmed it with Cari after I said that. It is indeed hardcoded, though she might try and move it into the data files if she gets a chance for DA.
