Release Notes for 1.4

What is this, release a new update Friday night and wait until Monday to publish the release notes?

As has been said, you really should check the journals before making a rather stupid post about the non-existance of something that's been there for 3 days. For the lazy: TADA!

I was shocked to read the change log. They're going to nerf stock exchanges. I posted my rant at the end of that change log post. Well, it's been real and it's been fun, but since 1.3 and 1.4, it hasn't been real fun. What's the point of playing a game whose updates only give me less enjoyment? See ya.

Craig... you know you can install 1.2? What's the point of updating a game to give you less enjoyment, true. But what's the point of leaving a game when you can play a version which you DID enjoy?

That won't help him because he plays the metaverse (as do I). I'm hoping he's just venting and will actually stick around. v1.31 hasn't lasted more than a few weeks, who knows there may be a v1.5 that he likes better just around the corner.

I know I thought I wouldn't like the changes in v1.31, and in fact they did mess up my strategy, but they have made the game more exciting, even though I don't really like the changes. Does this make sense?

Got to say I agree with Craig. 1.2 was a great update/patch. Since then...well the updates seemed designed to make the game less fun. It's annoying because well I want the bug fixes, better AI, I do not want the stock exchange nerfing, morale nerfing etc...

Since 1.3 played less and less. It's no use saying mod it, when u want to play the metaverse. Fortunately I keep all previous patches, so will eventually go back to 1.2. Hopefully Dark Avatar will make it all fun again. Fingers crossed...

Maybe the official metaverse, but it's worth noting that the AltMeta doesn't see cheat flags, so it would give full credit for modded metaverse games.
