Object Bar + Dual Monitor

Object Bar drop downs don't work on second monitor

Hi folks, while running Object Bar I placed it on my secondary monitor (to the right of my primary if it matters). When I click on a folder shortcut, nothing happens. If I drag the bar back to the primary monitor, clicking on the short cut results in a drop down with all the files in it (expected behavior). Is there a way to fix this up? Maybe I missed an option?

I just tried to duplicate, but I am unable to. I run opposite you (Primary on right). I dragged a bar to the secondary monitor and everything still works fine with it. I also run a second quicklaunch bar on my secondary monitor all the time and it works fine too. Does this happen with other themes?

I run a dual monitor system with object bar on the secondary monitor with no problems like you describe. My issue is that the mouse (cursor XP Pro) goes into a working in the background animation every time I mouse over something on the object bar. Even hours after booting the computer.

Anyone else run into this problem?

I'm having the same issue. I tried to make a Quick launch folder shortcut on my secondary (on right) and it won't work. I drag the bar to the primary and it works fine.
I have an additional issue where the Taskbar will not stay hidden. On my home computer it doesn't happen but at work when I drag the cursor to my bottom bar about half the time the XP taskbar comes up too, behind my Object bar.....irritating. To get the thing to go away I have to uncheck and then recheck the "Hide Windows Taskbar" option on the Theme Editor dialog.

You all seem to be describing bugs outside of the "community support" framework that this site can help with.

I'd suggest at this point that you email support@stardock.com with more information you think they might need so the dev can see what he can do.

I had another issue (autohide bar creeping up the screen during the day) and opened a ticket at https://www.stardock.helpserve.com . They were prompt and ticket tracking history is very nice. Instead of being a keyboard or mouse actuator issue, my problem turned out to be a bug and it's been given to the developer. In addition to what Zubaz recommended, I'd recommend the helpserve site as well.

I have a fix for the Taskbar reappearing.....kinda.....

If you run Object Dock Plus with the option to hide the taskbar turned on in it's configuration then the taskbar stays hidden with Object Bar. I guess the option to hide it is better implemented in OD+
