Am very new to skin studio. I want to learn to make my own skins visual styles etc... but i have to open it using paint.... am very firmer with Photoshop CS can i customise my skins using Photoshop CS?

Yes you can. In SkinStudio, go to Tools > Preferences > Image editors ..... Move "Shell Open" to the top of the list. If Photoshop is set as your default image editor, that should stop Paint from opening.
