If I still understand the way it's working... If I'm not mistaken you don't get a WC subscription with each renewal of ODNT, but the renewal affects your download ability. Same as the WC subscription.

If you renew your ODNT - you won't be subscribed to WC (so you won't get any new WC subscriber benefits) but you will be allowed to download skins and such to use with your ODNT products.

Registration with WC is free, but you don't get subscriber benefits and you have a download cap. You get benefits and a lifted cap with a WC subscription. An ODNT subscription would lift the download cap at WC.

I subscribe to both.

what if you computer fails and you lose all you had?

then you do what I did and start collecting all over again (and seriously start thinking about backing stuff up)

are you allowed to install all the updates you had again?

sorta. you don't get all the updates (you won't get all the betas for example)... you get the latest updates of the products you are entitled to.

For backup, the archive function in SDC works very well.
