bc per month payment option

In GalCiv 1, you had the option of paying or receiving x amount of bc for y months, in addition to the current lump sum payment option.

I really liked that payment option, because it gave me the chance to spread the bc i received from trading out if i needed so much per month for awhile to stay out of the red.

I was wondering if Stardock could put this bc payment option into their Dark Avatar expansion pack.

Doubtful, it was a major exploit.

Buy all tech / ships / whatever you want off the AI for 1bc + 1,000,000 bc per turn. Invade and destroy them the same turn - no-one to pay off anymore, so you just got a bunch of stuff for free.

Also, by repeatedly selling AIs stuff for per turn payments you could easily cripple their economy to the point where they would have to shut down all production and research.
