THANX FOR THE STAR TREK MOD

The game was ok when i first bouught it did need some work ie: alot better espionage,Home planets for the different races, better diplomacy all around.Having said that i would play the game a lil here a lil there.Then one day I downloaded the Star Trek Mod.Well now I play the game on a daily basis im hooked AWSOME JOB U GUYS ROCK ON. I dont think that there is a mod out there that even comes close.There are a few questions I have tho, will Romulans ever get cloaking, will there b unique homeworlds, and is it possible for races to annex or make outher races apart of your empire. Dont get me wrong i love the mod totally just i was wondering on a few things:)

You can't mod game mechanics (well, you can, but odds are not any time soon). So no to cloaking and no to annexing.

And what do you mean unique homeworlds? You can make the homeworld whatever you want it to be.

As the media Guy for the mod (movies, music) as far as i know i still am, your welcome

Spaxspore, as you are responsible for the movies used in the mod first I have to say your choices are good, but they are way too long.

The movies used in the tech discovery sceen could be replaced with much shorter movies, I don't think anyone would spend anywhere near a minute on the tech discovery screen, more like 10 secs.

Also, the starting movie could be cut down too, after the Enterprise bit cut the rest up until the fighting sequences at the end.

Not dissing your work, like I said you made some good choices in movie content.

1. I had multiple movies for different races for the tech, but it turned out that we couldnt get them all in game. Yes it could be shorter, but that would not be worth it (would save 5-10mb)

2.As for intro i did make a version of what u just described, but we had a inner mod vote, and everyone liked the longer one better.

yea it was a blast to do, but very time consuming the movies u see in the game that i have done is about 16+man hours

Hi. I'd also like to say how much appreciation I have for the team that did this superb mod. I just got around to trying it out after reading good things about it. I must say, Very Impressive. I'm not usually much for using mods(except Kryo's of course) but I'll definately be spending a substantial amount of time with this one.

Yes great job, this is one of the best mods for a game Ive ever played. Makes the huge download worth it!
