Systray - not working

This is Ver 2 from SD Central

Is this a known bug? It seems no matter what I do, I can't get the systray to show up. It is the only thing that keeps me using the windows taskbar which I would like to get rid of

do you have 'enable mcp notification area support' checked in SDC settings?

Make sure you have the Master control app running. If you have SDC you can enable it there [Tools | Settings | General | Enable MCP SmartStartup]. Or . . . run the stand-alone here: MCP

I believe that's to hold off windows from showing until SD apps apply

that did it thanks - I wonder why it doesn't get installed by default?
