Can't Associate New Icons to Certain File Types

Hi

I have IconPackager version 3.00a, registered, and am having problems with having file type icons changed. Example: I tried reassigning the Illustrator eps proper icon to eps files via the Change Icon button through the right click method in Windows XP, with no luck. The icons just stay the same. I've tried this with several file types with no success.

Any help?

Is that too far back to be updated?

Iconpackager is up to 3.11.106

do you have Stardock Central


do you have any icon managers that may hold on to preference?

Not sure what you mean. No, I don't have StarDock Central.
The only other thing I have running is WindowBlinds.

Once installed, register your product(s) and it will tell you what's available.

If you check 'auto archive' at the bottom, it will make a backup copy of what you are about to update

I think it depends on how old your version is.
I think that generally, you get a year of updates with programs.
