on-screen keyboard for tablet users

yeah, I know that I'm probably the only one who uses a tablet (sigh), but man, if you haven't used a tablet pc to play this game you are missing out. I cannot tell you how cool this is playing on a tablet. The whole game can be played without using a keyboard at all.

There's just two things missing. The first, when you create a new ship design you gotta give it a name. And that requires a keyboard. The second, and really minor thing since I hardly ever use it, is the ability to zoom in and out. You can't do that with the tablet pen either.

So, and I know how limited this request is, I would like to see some way to play the whole game without ever having to use the mouse. And, you beatiful GalCiv developers you, if you haven't tried the game with a tablet, then beg, borrow, or steal one NOW!!!

Does the tablet operation system support an on-screen keyboard like my windows-running HP IPAQ does? If so, can you switch it on and off?

Maybe you would have to use the clipboard to transfer?

Do they make tablet pens with wheels? (I use the zoom a LOT)

Just some random thoughts for workarounds....

I do and I know Brad Wardell does. I have a 1st gen though and the resolution can't get high enough to play.
