Can't register

I reinstalled the game a while ago without reregiersting. I tried to update my serial number so I could use v 3.1 but I have a problem. I changed Email adderess a few months ago so it's not the same account email that I used regesterd with.

It keeps on saying that it's not the right serial number with the right E-mail address. I can't figure out what to do. I tried using the same email address I used before this.

If you have activated and registered the game in the past but no longer have access to the email you used then (so you know your serial is valid and only ever used by you), contact support@stardock.com and they can help you sort it out.

i bought the game at a store and when i try to play it it says i have to activate it
(i loaded the 1.31 patch before using it) but when i put in my serial number that is on the cd case the game says it is an invalid serial. any one know what i should do?
