Why won't game update?

I went to the download section and downloaded 1.3, for some reason the game hasn't updated! What's going on?

Also this has somehow made it impossible to use mods.

The game is still using 1.2, even though i've downloaded 1.3

After you download the file, you have to run the file in order to update your game.

It does not do it automatically.

If you want an automatic update, you need to use SDC.

I did run the file (thats what I did when I downloaded the update).

I don't know somethings screwed up, oh well I can suvive until the expansion comes out.

Well, if you have the install CDs, you can:

  1. desintall GC2
  2. install it from the CDs
  3. get the latest 1.31 patch
  4. patch the game

Now if your PC is connected to Internet and have a good connexion, you can try to uninstall the game and download it throught SDC.
