Hi, I'm planning on purchasing WindowBlinds 5 Enhanced, but I want to clarify something first. I looked through the forum and found no faqs or any of the questions. So if anybody knows any of the answers to this, thank you for helping.

1) Am I able to share my windowblinds with 1other friend or do my friend also have to purchase his own copy?

2) Is the program that allows me to create my own skin included with windowblinds or is it a seperate program that I would have to buy seperately?

3) Is there also a subscription renewal similar to Object Desktop for windowblnds?

4) Do I have to pay for future upgrades?

Answers to your questions:

1. No, you are not able to share your windowblinds program with 1 or any friends. Each person has to buy their own copy. You are however allowed to install it on another computer that you own as long as only 1 installation is being used at a time.

2. No, the program that allows you to create your own skins is not included with windowblinds. It is a seperate program called Skin Studio and combined with a graphics program will allow you to create your own blinds.

3. Yes, there is a subscription renewal similar to ObjectDesktop.

4. With the purchase of WindowBlinds you will receive 1 year of updates and you will keep the software for as long as you wish. If you want to continue receiving updates then you will need to subscribe again.

It is a better deal to get ObjectDesktop as WindowBlinds and Skin Studio along with a multitude of additional software comes with it. This also has the free updates for 1 year. The same rules apply for single user installation.
