Question about DL Campaing ending (SPOILER ALERT)

(SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU'VE NOT COMPLETED THE CAMPAIGN.)

I've not yet had the time to finish the DL campaign, but a side project (writing) requires that I know if Lord Kona (the Drengin leader) survives the campaign. I've searched through the files hoping the data was moddable (and thus accessible to me), but it seems to be hardcoded into the individual scenarios.

I began playing the campaign but currently have only reached Achilles' Heel mission. It is probable I would run out of time and not complete my writing if I continue.

Does Lord Kona survive? Or (even better) does a summary of the campaign storyline exist somewhere?

The text that is displayed at the end of end phase of the campaign is in the XML files which you can read in notepad or IE.

Sadly, I could only find the scenario dialogue (spoken by ambassadors) in the xml files. Which led me to think the scenario briefing must be hardcoded. But the dialogue is probably enough to get by with. Thanks.

Simply put, yes, Lord Kona survives... at least no one mentions him dying so its a pretty safe bet hes alive.

I'd gone ahead and finished it. It's a brief little three-page story to introduce a prospective Dark Avatar character.

The briefing, winning and losing text are in the *.gc2scenario-files.
If you take a look in "Dread Lords Campaign.gc2campaign", you can see in which order to read the above files.
It's all readable in notepad.
