Installing Gal Civ II On Two Of My Computers

Hi,

I recently purchased Gal Civ II and I wanted to know if I could install the same game on both my computers. I have a desktop and a laptop which I use when I commute to work. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

Thank you

Sorry, I also wanted to add that I am only going to use it at one time, not to ahve both running at once when playing.

Did that myself. It's great having GC2 on the road to keep you occupied waiting around for a flight or something. Anyway, no problem. Just load it and use your info like you did the first time. Stardock does not place limitations on how many instances of the game you can run. Their license is pretty liberal, the way it should be.

Besides, if you can concentrate on playing two games at once, you DESERVE to be able to do so legally!

If i recall correctly, Stardock allows you to install the software on any computers you own and only one computer will be running the program at any time.

You are correct.

The statement about running one instance of the program at a time is to cover the situation where someone might load the program on a buddy's comptuer. It's a catch all for saying your license allows only you to run the game. However, I've had the game running on both my laptop and desktop at the same time when transferring games between them. That would be a violation technically speaking, but I'm sure Stardock would not have a problem with that.
