cant install object desktop

from Stardock Forums
I purchased object desktop and it sent me to a site to download stardock central, so i downloaded and installed it, but it cant connect to the server. i dont know whats wrong because i dont have a firewall or anything. someone plese help, thanks in advance

Try clearing the cookies and temporary files in 'Internet Options' and then start Stardock Central.

If the server connection still has issues, you can go to the "Tools menu > Settings > Internet category" and use the drop-down 'Current Server' list to select another server if listed and retry the connection.

Note - the server connection at 'US-1' is working here in Seattle, WA right now.

did you log into SDC?
did you register your serial in SDC?

Yeah, Thanks I got it fixed, but Now I have anouther error that says stardock central has an error and must be closed by windows,   i cant get it to work

reinstall it (you can reinstall over it)

wont work.... ive tried over and over, ive tried clearing my teperary files, ive tried reebooting....i dont know what else i can do

uninstall it, reboot
use a registry cleaner (CCleaner is a free old/temp file, history, reg cleaner)

try a fresh download

Look in Administrative Tools/ Events: what's the error say? What OS are you running that you don't have any firewall?

well, Ive got it to connect fine, and went on twice, then I went on again later and the program wont start anymore. i get an error that says Stardock Central has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for your inconveinience.
