IconPackage Vista x32 RC1

I am tester of the RC1 and i am trying Iconpackager.
i installed it and i when i install it, all default iconpackages are blank, i donwloaded the gloss.ip package i wanted and all icons are unavailable too, they don't appear.

Don't think IP is made availible for Vista yet.

ok but ive seen on wincustomize forum that some of users have their IP working on vista and desktopX. so IP isn't working for you neither ?

I think you should not expect IP working fully in vista, though some ppl can succeed in some case. Stardock would release windowblinds and IP for vista sooner.

P.S. - Oops, you already talked about this in another thread. Sorry about late jump-in.

yeah thanks i have found the way to use IP with vista
now i have my vista working with IP i mean IP works only when u changes the default icon so i changes them all and i used all IP themes by exporting them as .ico files since i can't use ICL files from RC1 . Now it's ok i have a fully RC1 working with my GLOSS.IP theme so beautifull no bug. it was long to find but finally .... i am so happy

Also Bootskin installs and works on Vista RC1.....thing is, it doesn't change ALL the bootskins in my folder, just some of them. Not to worry, I'm sure there'll be a fix for that eventually, and it's still better than seeing the RC1 bootup screen every time I log in.

Logonstudio does NOT install as yet...CursorXP does but only seems to want to change regular cursors and not apply the skinned versions. Oh well, next I'll give DX, IP and ObjectDock Plus a go to see how they fare.

Update: ObjectDock Plus work perfectly in RC1, and CursorXP works better than it did in beta2, applies all skinned cursors as well now. Also DesktopX is running like a dream in RC1, applies themes, widgets, the lot..... to the Stardock team.

Okay now to try out a couple of others.
