Question about Abilities...

Feel free to post a link to another post if this has been answered.

Using the Torians as an example. They have a +25 morale. If I add ability points to Morale it drops to +10 (assuming I used 1 point). Now, does this do away with the inherent Torian +25? Or is it added?

It appears to disappear the +25.

Is that by design to keep players from getting +55 morale with Torian?

Design. At least, the devs don't appear to be bothered by it.
