Mods only for 1.2 ???

Can anybody tell me this please???i want to edit my galciv v.1.0 is that impossible ? am i must download 1.2???

yes, but it is too late to download the 1.2 version..., now you need to download the 1.3 version... lol

Point 1: You are barely making any sense.
Point 2: Stop shouting.
Point 3: You can mod v1.0, it's just a bit different than 1.2, different mods folder and stuff.

My internet is very slow     its dowloading speed 9mb/sn i tried to download some maps from library (2mb) i started 10 min ago it isnt finish yet!!!!i cancel it..   thanks for help dear friends

Set it to update overnight and get 1.3 - It will be MUCH better to play. There have been a heck of a lot of improvements.

Most mods on the library right now require 1.2 or higher, as much better support for mods was added at that point. Mods in 1.0 can only be done by directly editing the game's core data.

The mods folder in My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 is not really used for anything aside from logos and portraits. It was put there in expectation of the enhanced mods functionality but the devs later decided to make the default location in the game's installation directory instead.

Yes i change some nations portraits like dark yor,vegans but i cant change their names...my school will begin 7 days later so i cant spend a lot of time with my computer  i am happy about your helps thanks everybody(i hate school   ) an yes i cant add kyro hull system cause i havent a data folder in galciv2 folder...  i m looking forward to expansionpack hopefully i spend a lot of time with it next summer
