Shellstyles hit 'n miss

Shellstyles do not work consistently. I've been working on a skin and I thought my editing of the UIFile were the cause of my shellstyle woes. As a sanity check, I imported one that works flawlessly as a normal visual style, Smooth Alternative's. The shellstyle shows common tasks at the bottom. After a few clicks, the common tasks moves to the left unstyled or sometimes just disappears.

Another issue, MDI buttons do not seem to skin on translucent windows. If I turn off per pixel, it works. Nobody has yet replied to my questions about changing the system icon on translucent windows. Is it possible to place transparency, rollup buttons on translucent borders? If yes, please provide a link to a translucent skin that does.

Shellstyles are 'wonky' that way for me to. Sometimes you'll get the shellstyle that the theme uses, and sometimes I'll get the standard windows XP shellstyle.

I've found that switching to the diamond theme gets things back to normal, for a short time, then all of a sudden the shellstyles will change.

Mdi buttons and menubars do not get skinned with Per pixel frames They are classic colors instead.
A feature we would all like to see work in the future.

I honestly can't remember if you can change the icon or not. I am 95% sure you can't but I would have to try it to refresh my memory.

No, we cannot add buttons to the title bar with per pixel window frames. You need to work with the non per pixel frames to add buttons.

Allof the issues you are having are becuase you are working with per pixel frames. All the features would work if your design can be done with normal window frames and magic pink.

As far as the shellstyles go, the upper left pixel of your shellstyle image must match the color of the window background or they won't show. Not sure if this is what you are running into but I thought I would throw it out.
