Can I have a simple tutorial please?

ObjectBar is insane to try and configure

I bought a subscription to Object desktop after not using any Stardock products for close to three years. I finally got an awesome laptop with a G-Force card and 2 gig of ram, etc. I tries some of tools and their improvments in development and my hardware improvments made them look and run perfectly.

I now use the Emmenance theme with the latest Windowsblinds, ObjectDock, DesktopX, right click menu, keyboard launcher, and few others. The only one I cannot figure out how to fully configure is

OBJECT BAR

This is what I have done and found:
1. I launch it and a sickly looking white (beige) taskbar appears. I use the theme mnage to select the WB theme emminance. This changes the taskbar but the start menu is still white. I start right clicking on things and choosing the WB emmenance theme and I end up with black background with black text. I try and change the text color using the theme editor and I cannot do it.

2. I have tried the online docs, and they talk about menus that I do not have and settings I cannot find. Is there a tutorial that explains the current version on how to change everything to look like my WB skin?

3. I deleted the Lock Taskbar item from the taskbar and no matter where I look I cannot find it to put it back.

4. now, the emmenance raskbar is very corrupt, with random text behind the start button and the inability to lock and unlock it without changing the skin. So how do I reset it.

5. Are there any known conflicts with ObjectBar and right click menu or keyboard launcher.

Rock on

Stardock is due to release ObjectBar 2.0 soon.

If I understand correctly, there will be two parts to creating themes:

1 = the parts of the bar

2 = the skin created for the parts (buttons, backgrounds, etc.)

It sounds like customizing the bar theme should be easier, and I would venture to say that compatibility with the current versions of Object Desktop programs (and Stardock programs) will be much better.

Here is the article WWW Link

I do not use that program currently, so am unable to provide any steps to improving your current experience, sorry for that.

That DOCS link is the one that I tried to follow and ended up with black text on black background. It shows menus and screens that I cannot find, so I guess this will not help me unless it starts at a simpler state.

Black text on black background may be a result of no BG color being set by the Docs HTML, and the dark system colors from Emminence taking over.
