Problem with "desktop x"

I have downloaded "Q's windows generations" desktop, it looks good but I can't seem to add programs to the drop down menus at the top of the screen and the menu which kind of replaces the start menu doesn’t work, the positioning is all off and it errors when trying to use it. Does any one have any ideas on the problem and how I can fix it?

is your screen resolution the same as the resolution Q's was made for?

If you right click dtx's tray icon, do you get an option to switch to builder?

If you mean the Start that fades in and out on lower left screen, it doesn't bring up the Start menu. For some reason its configured as a Trash Recycler, but doesn't work. In DesktopX Builder I reconfigured it, right click on the word Start, select Properties, on the General tab select Add..(under the Additional Abilities window) then select Start Menu 2. Apply it and you will have a functioning Start button. Everything else works 100% okay on my machine.
