Old beta customer with question

When I orginally downloaded the beta ages ago, I paid for it and was told when it went Gold I'd get the full version. Is this still true?

It also seems the game leans to one AI player. I'm doing ok, then someone shows up with a poplation of 300billion and an unassaible lead. How are they doing this?

Well, I'm a real newb here, but from what I understand you will get the 'Gold' version. Don't quote me on that. ;)

If you downloaded the beta ages ago, I'm sure the Gold version is much more polished and your 'bug' (which your problem description sounds like) was probably fixed.

Yes, you weren't so much paying for the beta as pre-ordering the game. :)

As Damelon said, if you only have an old version, it may be a bug long since fixed. If you have the latest beta version, I'd like a little more information so that we can determine what is going on. When was the last time that you updated?
