Suggestion for Civilization Manager Screen

Population Max indication

I searched the boards for this suggestion and didn't find it, so I thought I'd post. I am a micromanager, and I am constantly tweaking my colonies in the civilization manager. I love how the "planet class" column shows the number of useable tiles and notes the number of open tiles in parentheses.

I would suggest a similar mechanic for the population column. Current population (max population). Alternately, the number could be color coded, yellow for a planet at max population and green for a planet with room to grow. This way I don't have to scan the list for planets at 5.0, 9.0, 10.0, 11.0, etc and click to see if I need to build a farm or not.

No comments, hmm. Well, does anyone have a suggestion for managing planet populations? What population to you try to maintain on your normal worlds?

A color code for a planet that has reached it's max population would be great!! Red for at max Pop or above, Yellow for within 1B of max, and Green for below. And use the lower of the population where population growth stops and max population allowed by food ( farms ).

I'm at micromanager too -- persoanlly I like to put add the max population at the end of the planets name so if we could change the planets name with right clicking on the name in the civilization manager and 1st planetary management screens; that would help me.

The civilization manager as is is GREAT but that doesn't mean it cann't be greater.
