Starting Windows with DesktopX loading a default desktop

How can I force Desktop X to load a desktop of my choice at startup? When I start up now, I get the DesktopX welcome screen and that is it. I have to manually tell it to load a desktop that I normally use as my default.

In the Configuration window of DesktopX, there is a tab called "Preferences". Under the tab there is an option to 'Run automatically when Windows starts', make sure this option is checked. After that, the next time you log on, DesktopX will load whatever Theme or objects you have chosen.

I ran into the same problem. I noticed the settings and checked the option "Run automatically...". For some reason, this doesn't solve my problem: after a restart, DesktopX still doesn't load automatically.
Does anybody knows, why this doesn't work?
Thanks

Must be another quirk of DX I don't even have "Run Automatically" checked and DX loads for me when windows starts.. just an idea but uncheck it and see what happens.. You never know..

I'm running DX 3.2(0.044), licensed.
Don't understand what you mean with 'client'.

DesktopX (client) is the normal running state of DesktopX You can't edit any thing while running in the client mode. DesktopX builder is the state you run if you want to edit any thing such as text or add graphics.. To switch between the two right click desktop then on the popup window it will either say desktopx client or desktopx builder click on that.. the next popup window will give you the option to switch between the two.. hope this helps

You can have a licensed Client only version.
It doesn't come with Builder.

Not sure if the trial has a run at start option.

Seems Client should still run at start if checked.

Try saving your desktop, unload DTX, clear the cache, reload, reapply check, restart
