Is it possible to use skinstudio to remove the center of the taskbar?

Newbie on a mission :)!

I am a total noob. So far I've been able to use skinstudio to replace start button images. That's about it but I have skimmed the online manual. What I want to do is remove or hide the taskbar from Eclize Deluxe 2 (which is an awesome skin). So there is just a big empty space between my start button and the system tray. Is there an easy way to do this? Or is skinstudio not the app for this? Or is it so difficult that I should just give up now? Thanks!

You want a 100% transparent taskbar? I know I saw one . . so there must be a way . .

You can make all the elements of the taskbar 100% transparent, but I don't know how to stop the running tasks from appearing.

It might be easier to make a new ObjectBar . . .

That's how I'd do it......

I just did it . . . 5 minutes.

New bar. Horizontal.
Add a various-function item, start menu. Rename to "Start" (you can add an image if you want.
Add another various-function item, systray.
Auto-dock
Move extra space between the two. Ugly, but functional.

I'd probably make it as 2 bars so he could get all that "empty" space between the 2.

true, since OB doesn't support transparency

Ok, thats just crazy . Objectbar is where I started. I've been struggling with object bar see here: https://forums.stardock.com/?forumid=190&aid=128270#992945.

This info would've saved me some pain last night . The lack of transparency is a problem for me though. I really like the ecliz windowblinds skin and would like to maintain its transparancy. Especially since the goal of doing all this is for asthetics rather than functionality . After reading all the posts, this:

I don't know how to stop the running tasks from appearing.

is really what I want, to be honest. Just to supress the active tasks from appearing. Is there any kind of workaround to get this effect, doesn't have to actually stop the active tasks but maybe just hide them? If its not possible via objectdesktop, is it possible via some 3rd party software? Thanks!

If you have DTX, could you not use it to create a start and systray using those images from Ecliz? then hide the taskbar and set your's where you want?
