notifications when hiding the original taskbar

hi just got objectbar and was wondering whether or not you can stop the notifications coming from the original taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

for instance, when msn starts, it shows how many msgs you have bottom right even after hiding the taskbar or when my wireless connection faulters...the msg comes from bottom right.

i have a new bar on the left hand side of the screen with sys tray stuff in it.

any help would be appreciated

No.

YOu can try unhiding the toolbar and moving it to another part of teh screen. Maybe the notifications will follow the windows taskbar and will look more natural.

what i've done is used the original taskbar in conjunction with a bar i've created with useful handy things.
