Firefox (tabs)

I just got Firefox and I am wondering is it possible -
For Firefox to automatically opens a link into a tab rather than making it open a new page? (i dont mean it opens every link into a tab, just ones that regularily open into a new page)
Thanks!

From FF menu bar, Tools, options, select Tabs, check Force links that open new window to open in, then select new tab.

to really start exploring the huge potential of tabs, try this great extension for FF

Link to Tab Mix Plus, with it you can

Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox's tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager with crash recovery that can save and restore combinations of opened tabs and windows.

Or just middle-click links to force them into tabs without having to change any settings at all I'm so used to it I have to think about it to *not* middle click links elsewhere...
