How do I set a default icon for an extension?

When I drag firefox shortcuts from firefox to a dock, a shortcut is created but with no icon. How do I tell Objectdock to use a certain icon for all *.url files? Thanks!

I don't see the same result.

OD appears to pick up the icons I have set for file types from Icon Packager. I thought it did the same for native Windows icons too.

What doe s a URL shortcut on your desktop look like?

Zubaz - if you have FF, open bookmarks and drag on onto the dock = no icon

I gots not idea how to set that - methinks it's due to dragging a shortcut of a shortcut

What happens if you drag from FF to desktop and from desktop to Dock? That works for me. (Uses the IE icon on desktop, but apogee URL Icon on dock)

Interesting though . . when I drag from FF to Dock, I get the IE icon

Sorry for the delayed reply, yeah I am dragging directly from firefox to the dock. If I drag first to the desktop then the dock. I do get an icon. However, what I want to do is drag directly from firefox to the dock. Is there anyway to get that working? Thanks!

I'm not sure.

Be patient, some one may come along with the answer.

I am having the identical problem dragging either IE or Firefox addresses to ObjectDock. The problem is isolated to only 1 of 3 computers, so there must be something unique about that 1 system that blocks the image from landing on the dock. I've put in a tech support request to Stardock and will update this post if anything comes back. I've tried disabling just about everything running on the problem computer and yet the problem remains. Of course I can manually add an image to the "invisible" shortcut, but it would be nice if it would work the way it was designed.
