Write the Second Line

Let's play a game..

This is a game of poetry. Basically, the first person takes any first line of a poem, and the second person has to finish it with a line corresponding in rhyme, measure, and sense with it. Humor is optional, but definitely wanted.

An example:
There is a garden is her face;

A silly second line would be,

Her dermatologist has the case.

Anyway, post a finisher to the line ahead, and post a new line for the next player.

"I strove with none; for none was worth my strife"

Let those creative juices flow!
