Missing Text

I just downloaded the Quantria WB. I wonder at its features and colorization but have two problems with it. First, the black typed in text on extremely dark backgrounds is unreadable. This was mentioned in several comments about Quantria. Second, when using IE & thunderbird the text in several drop down boxes is missing. This already seems a relatively frequent occurence for me; but when I read the comments on Quantria, no one else mentioned it.

Am a 70 year old relatively novice Wincustomizer, so please forgive if I am in the wrong place. If in the right place, does anyone have any idea of how to get Quantria to quit omitting text? Other visual suites I have downloaded such as Transylvania and WOW don't do this. I recently replaced an older version of WB with the free WB5.

Thanks

There isn't a "free" version of WB5, it is shareware, and the trial will expire after 60 days. Also, I believe the shareware version doesn't have the ability to change the colors of the blind as does the paid version. If you decide to get the paid version you should be able to adjust the blind colors to enable you to see the text better.

Hope this helps you with your issue.

I think the problem is 1) Trial version being used and 2) the downloaded skin uses per-pixel rendering. The Trial Version won't display per-pixel skins correctly other than the ones that come with the program itself.
