Microsoft Update today Broke my WindowBlinds

from Stardock Forums
Everythign was great....not 10mins ago I got a messaage saying new updates from microsoft were ready to download and install. Mostly security updates and Outlook updates.

Installed the updates and then it Asked to reboot....so I did.

Windows loads up....windowblinds starts too and boom...

Everything says unable to load bitmap

can't load anythign anymore!

Do i need to reinstall my windowblinds or something?

There are more recent builds of WB available. I'd grab the most recent from Stardock Central.

I've heard that Windows updates that cause skin crashes are more often associated with StyleXP. Ever been down that road?

Sorry...got called into work.

hmmmm are you sure this isn't a legit version?

My bro was the one that got it for me and installed it.

How can I tell if its legit or not?

He in the navy and overseas so really can't ask him when/where he purchased till he returns.

Well I uninstalled and reinstalled.

Attempted to use his "normal" login/pass that i know..but none are being accepted.

So either you guys are right or he used a different login I don't know about.

Grrr....guess I'll just remove it for now till he gets back or calls so I can find out!
