THE ODE OF BONKIN BILL !
This is the tale of bonkin billy,
Whoose friends thought he was rarther silly,
To play for trysull against claverley one day,
Everyone was shocked, what could they say,
His stint in the covers had nothing to yield,
Then his bowling was smacked right into the next field,
He came in to bat and scored well for a bit,
Against sunday bowling your mother could hit,
But when faced with more experienced bowling,
Dave Mills and Nadeem had him rocking and rolling,
It was at this time Claverley noted with pleasure,
That Billy was starting to crack under the pressure,
He had a few lives and then Nads got him out,
"Get back to the hutch" the claverley players did shout,
Millsey then finished off the trysull innings,
And yes it was claverley doing the winning,
And so if you hear Billy starting to gloat,
Just remind him "NADEEM GOT YOU OUT"
