Windowblinds vs. StylesXp

Windowblinds vs. StylesXp

Okay, I saved up enough money and recently bought Windowblinds. Of course I heard of another program that does that same thing that Windowblinds does. There program is called StylesXp. So I just wanna know from a experienced point of view which one is better?

Ohh yeah another question? I want to have the best skins for my programs so I would like to know what people think is the best skin for wb5 out there now. So far my best skins for wb5 is MAKO (A orange/whitish skin themed after a shark), and THUNDERSTORM (Basically a thunderstorm skin).

Just thought id point this out but, you did post a WB5 vs. StylesXP poll on a WB5 forum...try posting at the StylesXP forum and ask which is better.

Stardock just has alot of bug issues goin on. WB5 has more bugs then ive ever seen so be careful.

A) What Style XP forum?

B) What bug issues are you talking about?

The bugs that are being complained about in the posts on this forum. I still have the reboot error even after uninstalling all my AV and basicly anything that could have interfered.

You having a problem with WindowBlinds doesn't make it buggy.

Do you know why TGT Soft doesn't have a forum anymore? They used to. And it was full of problems too. If you go to a support forum, you will have people who have problems.

Windowblinds vs. StylesXp

Given past experiences with StyleXP, you've already made the better decision in going with WindowBlinds, and don't let detractors tell you otherwise. Not only is WindowBlinds more stable and reliable, it has better customer support, via Stardock or the forums here, and does not hack system files.....

WindowBlinds allows you to do a repair install with your XP disc but StyleXP does not, which to me is a clear indicator that it messes with things it shouldn't. Also, if you unload WindowBlinds, your system will go back to its original state, but that is not so with StyleXP because it alters system files and therefore remains active in the background. Uninstalling StyleXP isn't an easy feat either, should it become necessary to remove it....a repair install of XP becomes necessary once its removed because StyleXP does not replace the original system files it hacked.

As for the best skins, well let's just say there are no best ones! They're all good, so it's a matter of personal preference, what works for you. Rather than seeking the opinions of others as to what are the best skins, I'm sure a browse through the WB library here would reveal many 'best' skins for you.

Well Im not sure where you got those facts from but your wrong on that note.. I used each program for at least a year and I will say WindowBlinds is better, however as far as you have to repair windows or its hard to uninstall StylesXP would be either a lie or you really didnt know what you were doing. Because StylesXP has right inside it for the boot screen, the logon, and the themes a way to reset windows back to its normal features. I would give you a screen shot of it but no need, you already use what you like. I myself like WB but Im not going to throw false statements out there for someone to join along with me in what I like... So before you say something, make sure that you have 100% of the facts so that way you dont come out looking like a liar.

Couldn't be farther from the truth these days. I waited 5 months before updating my Wb because I was happy with the way it was running. I figured ..why bother if it aint broke.

I finally updated last week and I am ashamed to have waited so long. It is running the smoothest I have ever experienced.
