How to activate 'Magnify' affect in a 'tabbed dock'

I'd like to be able to use the 'magnify' affect in a tabbed dock, just like in a 'regular dock'. Possible?

The magnify effect in standard docks isn't possible in tabbed docks. There is the "Use zoom effect on tabbed docks" option, but that is no where near the same thing.
