Restarting antivirus install problem

Okay, I installed windowblinds and I restarted, but it kept appearing. I restarted 2 more times but nothing happened. I went to the troubleshooting and it told me to turn off my antivirus. I have norton 2006 and i turned auto protect off. I tried downloading again and i installed. I restarted and the restart popped up again. I'm frustrated right now. there was an extra button that popped out and it said press this if it isnt working so i do it but nothing happens. Can anyone help me? Am i doing something wrong with my norton antivirus?

Are you referring to the shareware, or purchased version?

I ask because the purchased version needs to be activated, which requires the "Activate.exe" file to have access to the internet.

A little more information such as:

- Operation System
- Firewall software name
- Version of WindowBlinds

....would help someone direct you in a helpful way.

I had the same problem. I have the shareware version and I have Windows XP with the SP2 package. But I have the Freedom Security and Privacy package too. I was trying to download WindowBlinds 5.0 I think. Any ideas on how to help?
