How high can it go

I recently finished a game with 51 logistic points. I had 45 and when I took over a rival civ I captured their Hyperion Logistics doohickey, like the one I had previously built. So, I was curious if anyone had a breakdown of the maximum possible logistics points and the various ways to increase logistics.

The various Logistics techs get you a total of +31. The Hyperion Logistics gets you +6. Each race starts with 5-8 points, with Altarians being the only 5 and Yor being the only 8--most races have 6 or 7.

Drath with a single Hyperion Logistics have a 43, Yor have 45 (which lets them put a ninth constructor in their fleets, you git...), and as far as I know only the techs and Hyperion improvement get you logistics bonuses above that of your race.

Well I was playing the Yor at the time (working on my Racial Victory merit badge), so thats where the 45 came from. When I finished conquering the Torians, I got their Hyperion Logistics structure for the additional +6.

Is it possible to get Logistics bonuses from Anomalies?

I know I have seen these bonuses:
Repair
Crew XP
Weapons
Defenses

Any others?

Can you get +6 logistics for each planet in your empire with Hyperion Logistics or is there a cap?

There are 10 major races; if you play the custom race can you have 11 majors in the game? Can the minors build the Hyperion Logistics? If you capture a race's Hyperion Logistics, can it build another one?

Nope, its a Superproject, like an Economic Capitol, and its one per civilization. Thats how I got two in my last game. I built the Hyperion Logistics and I conquered another civ's planet that had also built one. Thats how I ended up with 51 logistics points.

That would only be possible if a player is able to build another one after losing it to planetary invasion. Brad/Froyboy said that now in v1.2 the AI will rebuild a capital (e.g., econ, manuf, tech, home world), if it loses it in an invasion. Then in theory it would be possible to have one on every planet rather than one for each race. Maybe you should be forced to destroy a superproject (e.g., destroy your old one or the new one you aquired) to prevent duplicates. Did you get the bonus you would expect from 64 Hyperion Logistics or did you hit a cap?

You obviously took control of planets that the AI's had built Hyperion Logistics buildings on.

64 is a hard number to arrive at, I would also speculate that you skipped over one of the Logistics tech, probably during a trade or in taking a planet by force. Either that or there was a logistics bonus in an anomaly or in some planetary moral decision, something to make the make the numbers work. Maybe you took another racial ability that improved it?

The theoretical MAX might be
45 (Yor with all techs)
+ 54 (+6 x 9 other races)

that is, of course, unless there are bonuses in anomalies and moral choices which might elevate that number.

Nope, you can get another one by taking it from another race when you conquer/flip their planet.
