Some observations

I just finished a game where, for a very long time I had a huge income and I built up a huge surplus, then gradually, as my fleet changed from battle cruisers to battleships, then dreadnoughts and finally overlords, the maintenance costs built up into a budget deficit of around 3000bc per month. Not a big deal since by the time it got that big I still had nearly 200,000bc in the bank (don't ask!). I just let the game play out with no taxes and deficit spending. But when I got to the end game my "average income" was calculated as something like -2200bc and this was counted against me in the score, I'm sure. What gives? If I have such a huge surplus, clearly I have made more money than I lost and my average income should be something close to, if not higher than, the accumulated surplus divided by the number of months elapsed.
And the game (5C 5x5 universe) crashed again when I went to submit to the metaverse. No smart exception generated.
