Problem installing windowblinds

Hi, After installing windowblinds it asks to reboot pc, after i do this and open windowblinds again it comes up with the same screen asking to reboot again. 4 times in a row now, i cant get it to open at all. Help!

Is it the trial version or the purchased version?

My first suggestion would be to uninstall/reinstall.

Hi, I got it working. Now its not working again~! This time the skins just wont load..

The trial version comes with a couple pre-installed skins but will not allow you to add more skins. That's the idea behind a trial, let you try it out and if you like it you'll pay the $20 to own it.

If you decide to buy, I'd suggest going for Object Desktop which includes windowblinds, Iconpackager, DesktopX, IconX and about a dozen more customization programs and gives you free upgrades for all of them for a year. It's around $50 last time I checked.

Even though is the trial its still not working. No skins will load at all. I have loaded many skins before with the trial. Something is deffinetely not right. When clicking on appearance tab in display properties then apply a skin it just does nothing..

How long since you first installed it? It is a timed trial. You only have so much time and then it doesn't work.

If it's a recent install you'll probably need to paste the information from the System information page of the WindowBlinds Configuration dialog so that someone can see what your hardware is.

The trial is for 60 days, You can install additional skins, but the per-pixel features are only supported for the skins that come with it.

Skins can't load unless it's working.

which would be: open WB configuration, click 'system information' on the left, then copy/paste here all the info that shows up.

Im getting this message after installing. If you have rebooted and still get this message, you may need to disable any registry protection/ anti spyware apps you have and reinstall window blinds as they may be incorrectly preventing the install.

As a alternative you can press the "Use additional process" button.

I press this but windowblinds is still not working.

Ok, so i installed windowblinds 4 and it works just wont load one of my skins that must only work in version 5! So it must deffintely be a problem with the latest version 5 download? Thing is if i was to buy windowblinds i would like to be asured that version 5 will run on my computer! So please help me get version 5 running! At least the demo! Thanks!

The trial period most likely has expired. If you wish to get the version 5 running again you will need to purchase it.

So, If you uninstall the demo and reinstall it you dont get another 60 days trial?

Correct. Once the 60 days has expired the trial will not work any more and re-installing it will not give you another 60 days. If you wish to have the WindowBlinds 5 program after the trial period has expired you will nedd to purchase it.
