Not supported in Carrara 5 Pro

Freeze up when importing

I use Carrara 5 Pro and I have latest of windowblinds. When I run my Carrara 5 pro program, mostly everything is fine. However, when I import poser cr2 & pz3 files, all is fine, until Carrara is unable to find an aspect of the file. A browsing box pops up & normally you would link it to the file carrara cannot find. However, the box that pops up is frozen & unresponsive. I then have to force shutdown of carrara 5 pro.
After 1 day of trying to figure out why this is happening, I tried something. I unloaded windowblinds. After thet, I had no problem at all. So, windowblinds is not in harmony with that aspect of Carrara.
Do I go to Carrara to see if they can do something at their end, or is there something stardock can do to make it compatible with carrara?

While the forum is mainly for users to help users, Stardock people do show up once in a while. It could be a while before they respond here. Your best bet is to submit a help ticket (that way you can also track it).

In the mean time - if you have not done so, you can add Carrera to the per application to exclude WB from skinning it (or various other "don't skin this" or "only skin this" options).

If it's all skins doing this, I suggest the total exclusion. If it's not all skins and you know of one that works with Carrera then you can tell WB to only use that skin with Carrera.
