Dark Avatar

Is it just me or is Dark Avatar looking more and more like Master of Orion 3?

Im not sure about MOO3 but I did note one similarity to the apparent plot of Dark Avatar to something I saw. Now if you are familiar with the TV series Stargate SG1 (if you haven't frankly where havee you been!?) anywho there is this race called the Ori, really tech advanced and at the end of the last season they had began a crusade against the Milky way galaxy to convert everyone to their hollow religion.

SPOILER WARNING DONT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THE CAMPAIGN!

Dont say I didnt warn you lol. In the end of the campaign for Gal civ 2 the humans escape to the pocket dimension where the DLs lived and find a super advanced planet, where they will bide their time before returning to the galaxy to and i quote "launch a crusade against the evil civs." The Thalans warn the humans not to escape to this pocket dimension warning that the crusade will end in "mass destruction."

Like the Ori in SG1, in Dark Avatar, the advanced humans are going to come out of the pocket dimension and lauch a genocidal "righteous" war of retribution against the Drengin alliance. If anything i wouldn't be suprised if the humans became an evil race in their thirst for vengence.

This is just speculation btw I can't wait for the expansion.

If that is true then I guess we wont be seeing the Yor and the Drengin in GC3. Good I cant stand having an evil race that is brutish. Ive always like the more subtle evil, like Dracula or an evil wizard. Big brute evil is kinda goofy.

Am I the only one one this site that doesn't watch the Sci Fi channel, and Mrkyp12345 when you talked about that Star Gate SG1 and you said if you havn't where have you been, well most people stay far away from that channel entirley, I hate how everyone on that channel has those dump costums, most people don't watch that channel you just spend too much time on this site.

Hm... well you have heard of it or else you wouldnt be answering him now would you. But, its true the whole space themed saga died out a while ago at least for tv/movie based entertainment.

To Azrune, well i never watch the Sci fi channel mate, I live in the UK, the only channel Ive ever seen SG1 on is Sky 1, which is a great channel, it has all the crap the US puts on tv and we get it a few weeks later.
