Re-Name Planets?

Is there a way to rename planets or assign specific desgnations?

I like to specialize my planets, but its difficult to remember which planet is where and what production.

When you select any planet or ship (even enemy ones) just click the little page icon next to it's name in the info box.

I think you can rename Planets on the planet Details screen. I was thinking it would be cool if we could rename planets while in the colonies screen of the civilization manager -- maybe by right clicking on the planet name -- would be a nice way to put in notes for the the planets.

there are several ways to rename planets. one way is when you first colonize it, it brings up a box that says something to the effects of "We have succesfully colonized Protos IV! Enter a neam below." and it will have a box with the planets current name in it. click on the box and type in a new name.

another way is to go to details menu and click "rename planet".


you can also click on the little page-like image located next to the planets current name when you click on the planet. it will then give you a box that says "enter the new name below".

those are the only ways i know of.

You can rename enemy fleets as well
