18 candles, which is one more than last year...Not quite as many as some folks here, but it seems like a lot to me.

 

Funny, I was expecting the wisdom of the ages to hit me when I blew them out (becoming an 'adult' and all that)...but I dont feel any different.   

...I am, however, diggin' the new forums.

Hope your 18th is the first of many wonderful and 'enlightening' birthdays, EH.

But 18 candles, you ain't seen nuthin' yet....wait 'til your neighbours call the fire dep't cos they feel the flames are a threat to theirs and adjoining properties.

Oh!, and the 'wisdom of ages' comes not with your 18th or subsequent birthdays, but in the fortune cookies brought to the parties.
