IP crashes when applying a new package

I'm using windows xp64. I've got the newest version of IP (3.11.105) but everytime I try to apply any package it just crashes and the send error report dialog comes up. I've tried the packages that come with IP and also the Apogee set. Does anybody else have IP successfully working on windows xp64?

Yes... I have the same problem,I also have xp64.I am using the current version of SDC. I had to delete 3.11, and go back to an earlier version.3.10.It works fine.

Try unticking the Custom Files checkbox from within the Include section. Now try re-applying your icon theme. Does that work?

I have the same issue, and no, un-checking the "Custom Files" option does not fix the issue. One of the other threads made mention of a possible corrupt theme. It doesn't appear that I downloaded that package, of course if there is one bad package I assume there could be more...

Kingspinner, check the size of your icons are set correctly to either 32 or 48 pixels. You can change it from within the IconPackager settings.

PDOstrander, what version of Windows are you using? x64?

I'm using windows xp x64, version 2.36.417 build 134 of SDC and version 3.11.105 of IP. Every time I apply a package only some of the icons apply (mostly some on the start panel and some on the control panel).

I've tried the suggestions above such as unticking the "custom files" box as well as the icon sizes but still IP keeps crashing
