WB forces "classic windows style"

this might be pretty dumb. I've just installed WB, and tried several theme. It seems like no matter what I do, WB forces the use of something like "classic windows style". The color can be changed, but all other features remain like classic windows regardless which skin I choose....

Did you purchase Windowblinds or is this the trial?

Also, copy and paste your system info from Windowblinds here.

This is the trial version.

Actually, it worked somehow, but when I log-off and log-on again, it messed up.

I found that sometimes the values in "display propteries" are not consistence with my settings. For example, classic windows style got select no matter what sometimes.

My guess is that your trial is up. Hopefully someone from Stardock will come along and say for sure. Hang in there....

I'm running a beta (last one, not the one that just came out) and you have dates after mine.
you even have one that's more recent then the beta released on the 14th.

Are you using one of those "custome" made illegale copies of windows XP floating around today or is it simple WindowsXP?

Even with a legit copy of WB, the Classic preview in DP does not always jive with the Classic preview in WB; something to do with the Classic Colors assigned by the last-used skin, I think.

wow... i'm lost.

I am using Windows XP Tablet 2005 Edition with SP2 (OEM). I've downloaded the windows blind trial and some skins called "NebariGrey" and "Foton".

I've applied the "Nebarigrey" theme and changed all icon and fonts size to be small, use tweakUI powertoy to enable Xmouse. That's that's everything I've done to the UI.

I've rebooted several times, and it's fine with the skin now. But it is not stable at all, for example if I want to change the desktop background's color to black, it'll crash. I'll need to restart and the color can't be changed. Another instability I observed is that the icon-text font size is changing kind of randomly.
