Hey. I'm wanting to change the icons on a friends computer, but I don't have 6 months to spare changing each icon at a time, and I can't afford to buy IP. I'm hoping that it would be ok to just install icon packager, apply one pack and then leave it at that...I noticed once before that I can do this, and not have all the icons revert to default after the trial period. I wanted to ask though, if this would be alright to do?

You could check out this free utility: http://joost.endoria.net/ Doesn't have all the faetures of IP, but still quite nice.

I don't see why not.

If the trial IP can set your icons to something 'new'....and then after the trial is over they stay 'changed'...then all is well.

I can think of several proggies I have 'trialled' for their singular benefit.

Of course....if you then get the urge to want to change them as often as your undies....then it's time to release the moths from the wallet....
