It's not so much the skinning that my partner doesn't get,it's the fact that I like to dress up as Prince Charles and put a plant pot on my head while I do my graphics that she doesn't seem to get.  Women eh?   

I think my wife hates that I make her dress up as 7of9 when I'm skinning..... sorta puts me in the mood

  That should put any red blooded male in the mood.Except Prince Charles of course.Rumour has it he can only count to 4.    

Prince Charles = blue blood, maybe?

I think its stupid to find someone else's hobby stupid  
Everyone has got the right to use his free time as he (she) want !
Why skinning should be more stupid than playing video games , listening to music, or watching TV ?
Then , I think it's a form of creation as respectable as photo, painting and so on...

And it's a good way to spend long winter nights

Much of recent times me and my fiance have had converstations of 'spending more time together'...i seem to spend just about every waking minute on my pc, from waking (after morning chores of course)... until Ive had enough for the day and quit. But I have the support of him, and he encourages what I do, loves what I make and always confeses that I am very talented. So i have agreed to dedicate my afternoons to my gorgeous darlin......but still can skin during the day....

When I get a notion for a new skin, I confess that I do become obsessed with it, and want her completed, and view her in all her glory..but I also know there is a real world out there, and my fiance needs me too...so im glad i wasnt pig headed enough to ignore his pleas, and give my skinning a rest and quit for the day in the afternoon.  

Art is everything, for your personal GUI or just for looks, art is what keeps us up and proud!

Well, Finally got my wife interested a little with my Flower Garden DX theme.

Not sure how long it will last though. I guess i will have to keep making some brighter skins every once in a while.

She is actually asking me to see how many downloads Flower garden has. Lol
