FX and Desktop Icon Position

I really like some of WFX's features and I'd really love to use the "Large Icon (48x48)" feature for Desktop Icons, but frequently when I run the explorer there's some sort of desktop refresh and all icons are lined up in the upper left corner automatically. This drives me crazy because the placement of my desktop icons follows a certain pattern which I'd have to recreate every five minutes...
I know there are programs that allow you to safe and recreate the desktop layout but I'd have to make a new snapshot with every file I cange on the desktop and then every time the desktop resets. This is beyond annoing.
Could that please, please, please be fixed really soon?
And, yes, I tried several uninstalls and fresh installs.
(System Info: AMD 2200+, ATI Radeon 9500, 1GB Ram)

Thank you for your time.

Yep, I experienced the same anomaly and thus had to forego using that feature in WindowFX. I've got better things to do with my time than spending it rearranging my Desktop icons several times per day.

Yes it is very annoying, I just rolled back to 2.11 and use http://visualtasktips.com/ plus a few other programs to get all the freatures of the latest version.

For me as well. This is driving me crazy. It seems whenever windows FX has to reload or re-'something' it changes the placements of my icons back to the top left corner default location. Try as I might, I cannot get the icons to stay where I place them. When my comp reboots/restarts or something on the desktop changes causing Windows FX to redraw or whatever it has to do it moves my icons back. It is making me want to unload windows FX, but it is so nice, I don't like that solution either (plus I paid for it, so I want to use it!!)

Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks!
