Window Blinds stand alone?

I purchased Window Blinds to change desktop themes for myself.

I have 2 laptops and one desktop.

In order for the window blinds to work I need a Window Blinds installed on that particular machine?

So I would have been better off to purchase 3 stand alone versions over the Object Desktop?

Or is there a way to use any of my themes on the other 2 computers?

Thank you in advance,
Linda

From the eula.txt for WindowBlinds

YOU MAY:
1. Install and use one copy of the
SOFTWARE on a single computer.

2. Install a second copy of the SOFTWARE on a
second computer only if you are the main user of
this computer (home computer or laptop for
example).

3. Install the SOFTWARE on another computer only
if you change your main workstation. In such a case
you must uninstall the software from the old
computer.

4. Use the SOFTWARE via a network, only if you
have purchased an adequate number of licenses.
The number of users must not exceed the number of
licenses you have purchased.

5. Make a copy of the SOFTWARE for archival
purposes only.

The agreement allows you to install WindowBlinds (or any Stardock app) on a second machine if you're the main user, but not a third. I would email sales@stardock and ask them what you should do.

the simple answer is yes, on the machine you want WB to work on.

Okay it sounds like I can use my copy of window blinds on my laptop then. I guess the next question is where do I get my copy since SDCentral simply installed it on to my machine? Thanks again!

You install SDC on that computer also and then install Windowblinds.

If you laptop has internet - then download SDC to your laptop and use it to download WB
else - use SDC to make an archive of WB, install SDC to the laptop and use SDC to restore the archive.

info on archiving and restoring can be found at Corky O's site: http://corkyo.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=83629
then if no internet on the laptop, you may have to go for email activation.

Thank you very much ... I will check out Corky's site. The laptop has no internet connection. Might just be easier to purchase a stand alone and install that on both laptops even tho I only use the one of them as a back up. The window blinds are a nice touch.
