Icons behind dock

Every once and a while when I open certain programs or folders, my icons end up disapearing behind the dock. I can not get them to come back in front untill I restart OD+. Does any one else have this problem, and if so how do you fix it?

I have a similar problem nearly all the time with my dock in that the dock icons are displayed behind the background.

A stardock rep told me that this problem is a bug in Windows (it gets confused over z ordering with screen resolution changes) but you know what - BOTH ObjectDock plus AND WindowBlinds 5 are displaying endless rendering problems of this nature with borders mispainting over menu bars and vice versa, borders disappearing, mispainted windows etc. I mean if it was occasional or after I came back from playing a game or something sure I could accept it but these are evident from startup. It doesn't seem to matter what skin I use either. I'm not running WinFX3 because it makes things even worse.

All I have is a bulk standard ATI X800XTPE with dual screens. Nothing unusual, latest drivers and these bugs are really rendering both pieces of software as well frankly bordering on being uninstalled.

I've been tracking all the beta versions of Windowblinds in the hope that these would be resolved and my postings remain unanswered. I know I should probably revert to non-beta version of WB5, heck reverting back solved the crazy multiplying control panel icons the IconPackager beta was causing.

I dunno, I feel I've spent a bunch of money on buggy apps and my once golden regard for the StarDock team has been tarnished by this and there doesn't seem to be a resolution in sight. Very disappointing.

What to do...?!
